That season led me back to my purpose.

I’m Erica Renee McKinney, and I create country, roots, rock, and gospel soul music that helps people remember who they are and return to what truly matters.

My journey didn’t come from chasing something new—it came from finding my way back.

Back to myself.

Back to what matters.

Back to a life that feels grounded and true.

I walked through a season of overwhelm that turned into burnout.

And in that space, I realized my life wasn’t aligned with who I really was.

It’s a quiet kind of feeling…

when you know something is off, but you can’t ignore it anymore.

For me, creating and sharing isn’t optional—it’s part of who I am.

And when I stepped back into that, everything began to shift.
